Syria Demands Turkey Immediately Withdraw Troops from the North of the Country

Damascus demands that Turkey immediately withdraw its troops from Syria’s northern provinces. This was stated by Syria’s Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad. The Minister also noted that the international community, for its part, should support Syria’s efforts regarding the liberation of the territories occupied in the country’s northern region. According to Syria’s foreign ministry, the main cause of the tension created in Idlib is the Turkish occupation and the support that Ankara provides to local terrorist groups.
