Many of our citizens in the earthquake zone have been left on the streets in this cold weather because of their damaged homes.
This is what Garo Paylan, a member of Turkey’s parliament, wrote on his social media page.
“All of you who have taken care to make your homes sturdy, open your doors to those who have been left on the street:
The disaster is great, and solidarity must be great too,” wrote the Armenian-origin deputy.
