The “Nordic Monitor” website, registered in Sweden, had published an article stating that Turkey has developed a plan for air operations against Armenia, code-named “ALTAY”. This is reported by “Eermenihaber.am”.
This website, operating in Sweden, is coordinated by Turkish journalists. Moreover, all of them are considered members of the “Fethullahist Terrorist Organization” (FETÖ).
The Turkish pro-government press has responded to that publication, calling the journalists who published the said information traitors who betray Turkey and act against the state interest.
It is noteworthy that the pro-government press does not deny the existence of the plan for a military campaign against Armenia under the code name “ALTAY” and does not question the existence of such a plan in general, but rather accuses those who published it of high treason.
The Turkish press also emphasizes the fact that those who published the information are members of the Gülenist movement and touches upon the reactions from Armenia and Greece.
Among the commentaries that have appeared in the Greek press, there are viewpoints according to which, after Syria, it is not excluded that Turkey will turn its gaze toward Armenia.
