The United States is extremely concerned about the role Turkey has played in the latest military operations in Nagorno-Karabakh. This was stated on Tuesday by Philip Reeker, Acting Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, TASS reports.
“We have many questions regarding Turkey’s role there. We are extremely concerned and have expressed that concern regarding Turkey’s role, the transfer of foreign fighters, and discussions of arms deliveries. These issues are concerning and remain part of our dialogue with Turkey and Russia,” said the US State Department official. He spoke during a briefing for members of the Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe (Helsinki Commission) affiliated with the US Congress.
