Azerbaijan has not yet received any communication from the new US administration. This was stated by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, responding to a question about the US role in the post-war period during a conference at ADA University.
He noted that he has not received any communication since January.
Aliyev also noted that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken had earlier called Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. “I do not know what they discussed, but the balance has been disrupted. I am not saying I expect a call from them, but they represent the Minsk Group. The US must show a balanced approach,” he said.
According to him, the only communication received from the US administration to date has been President Joe Biden’s congratulations on the occasion of Nowruz.
