Azerbaijan Used Banned Cluster Bombs Against Armenians, Western Media Report

Azerbaijan’s armed forces are using banned cluster bombs against Armenians. As reported by the Daily Mail, this has been confirmed by journalists of Western media outlets who visited Artsakh. The outlet specifically wrote that on 5 October there were reports of the use of cluster munitions, which upon launch disperse explosive bomblets. After heavy shelling by Azerbaijan’s armed forces, unexploded small bomblets were seen in Stepanakert, the capital of Artsakh. The Telegraph also wrote about this, noting that Azerbaijan used cluster bombs against civilian areas. The use of cluster bombs is prohibited under any circumstances by international humanitarian law.
