Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Conducts Negotiations in Israel

Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Fariz Rzayev has departed on an official visit to Israel. The focus of the high-ranking diplomat’s negotiations will be the preparations for the opening of the Azerbaijani embassy. The decision to open an embassy in Israel was adopted in November 2022 by Azerbaijan’s parliament, after which President Ilham Aliyev signed the corresponding decree. The program of the Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister’s visit to Israel includes the selection of an appropriate site for the embassy and a meeting with former head of the Mossad, Tamir Pardo. Fariz Rzayev will also hold meetings with representatives of Israel’s Ministry
