Azerbaijan’s former foreign minister Tofig Zulfugarov has expressed his position regarding the US, Russian and French ambassadors’ refusal to accept the Azerbaijani government’s invitation and to travel to Shushi. Azerbaijani media outlets report this.
“The Minsk Group is finally dead… The ambassadors of the 3 states must be subjected to official and public isolation (not receiving them and not accepting their invitations to any event), as long as they have not visited Shushi. Anyone who violates this rule should be subjected to criticism in the media,” the former Azerbaijani foreign minister wrote on his Facebook page.
It should be noted that the ambassadors of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair countries refused to participate in the visit of diplomats organized by the Azerbaijani authorities.
