Farid Shafiyev, chairman of the board of directors of the Center of Analysis of International Relations in Baku, announced during a press conference that the opening of a department for Armenian Studies research is planned within the center. This was reported by Armenpress.am.
“We must comprehensively study Armenia’s economy, history, literature, and the state policies it has pursued. We also intend to offer Armenian language courses within the center. There are few specialists in Azerbaijan who have a command of Armenian,” he stated.
Shafiyev also noted that they are conducting a series of studies related to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, with the aim of presenting the reality of the conflict to the world community and international experts, and establishing cooperation with them.
