US Secretary of State Antony Blinken discussed the situation in Afghanistan and Nagorno-Karabakh with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
A senior State Department official stated this during a briefing on the US participation in the 76th session of the UN General Assembly.
“The meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Cavusoglu lasted about an hour. Of course, they discussed Afghanistan, and also spoke about Syria. In addition, they had a relatively long conversation about the Caucasus — Armenia, Azerbaijan and Nagorno-Karabakh,” the State Department official said.
