“Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is discussing the Karabakh issue with United States President Joe Biden,” reported the Azerbaijani news agency “Trend,” citing an interview given by Turkish presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin to the Turkish newspaper “Milliyet.”
Kalin enumerated the issues that are planned to be discussed at the bilateral meeting of the two countries’ presidents within the framework of the G-20 leaders’ summit, which is to take place in Rome from October 30 to 31.
“We have broad ties with the United States. The leaders will discuss the main issues on the agenda — in the political, economic, energy, trade, defense, industrial, security and counter-terrorism spheres. Issues pertaining to Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, the Caucasian region and Karabakh, Libya, the Mediterranean, as well as other global problems, will also be discussed,” said the Turkish president’s spokesman.
