Israeli armed forces shelled Aleppo International Airport on the night of March 22. This was reported by the Syrian state agency SANA.
On Wednesday night at 3:55 AM, the Israeli air force launched missiles from the direction of the Mediterranean Sea, west of Latakia, targeting the vicinity of Aleppo International Airport, a military source told SANA.
Al Arabiya television channel, for its part, reported that the airport’s operations had ceased due to the shelling. According to the channel, four missiles were fired.
Explosion sounds were heard in Aleppo and Latakia. Israeli armed forces had also struck Aleppo Airport on March 7, causing the airport to be out of service for several days.
