The presidents of Russia and Turkey, Vladimir Putin and Tayyip Erdogan, discussed the situation in Syria, Afghanistan, Libya and Nagorno-Karabakh. This was announced by Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov, RIA Novosti reports.
He noted that during the talks, the parties paid special attention to regional issues.
Peskov added that during his conversation with Erdogan, Putin emphasized the need for compromise solutions between the parties to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
“The Russian side stressed that the parties must find compromise solutions on the development of transport infrastructure and the delimitation of borders,” Peskov said.
