On the morning of December 29, Russia launched more than 120 missiles toward Ukraine. This was announced on his Twitter page by Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
“More than 120 missiles over all of Ukraine, launched by the ‘evil Russian world’ to destroy critical infrastructure and massacre civilians,” Podolyak wrote at 09:21.
He added that he expects “new proposals” from those who seek security guarantees for Russia.
“We await the next proposals of the ‘peacekeepers’ on a ‘peaceful settlement,’ ‘security guarantees for Russia,’ and the undesirability of provocations,” Podolyak said.
It should be noted that on the morning of December 29, an air alert was declared in all regions of Ukraine, except the west. As of 8 a.m., alarm signals had sounded throughout the country.
As the “South” operational command explained, Russian forces have put two surface missile carriers on combat duty in the Black Sea. Up to 20 Kalibr missiles are ready for launch.
