Frank Pallone, a member of the United States House of Representatives, has commented on the Hague court’s ruling in the case of Armenia v. Azerbaijan, according to which Azerbaijan is obliged to take measures within its power to ensure the unimpeded movement of people and goods through the Lachin corridor in both directions.
“The International Court of Justice’s ruling confirms that Azerbaijan’s blockade of the Lachin corridor violates international law and must be halted immediately. The State Department and our allies must ensure that Aliyev follows the ruling and allows the free movement of people and goods to and from Artsakh,” the politician wrote on Twitter.
