Prominent Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has called on Congress to initiate three impeachment proceedings against US President Joe Biden, including for the situation created in Afghanistan. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
The Republican woman representing the state of Georgia stated that she has submitted draft resolutions to Congress for removing Biden from power. She noted that Biden has left 10,000 Americans under the rule of the terrorist authority of the Taliban.
Greene also asserted that Biden has violated immigration legislation by allowing a crisis at the US southern border. In the politician’s view, Biden, despite the Supreme Court’s position, has also assumed legislative powers and extended the moratorium on evictions of tenants. According to Greene, during the 7 months of Biden’s presidency, America has lost the respect of the entire world.
Greene’s proposal has little chance of succeeding, since both chambers of Congress are under the control of Biden’s supporters, the Democrats.
Earlier, Republicans had sharply criticized Biden after his speech regarding Afghanistan, calling his remarks “detached from reality.”
