Passenger and Freight Trains Collide in Greece: Dozens Dead and Injured

Dozens of civilians have been killed when a major train accident occurred near the city of Larissa in Greece. Sources reporting on this news state that the number of dead as a result of the accident has exceeded 35, and there are more than 100 injured. It is also noted that there were passengers on the train travelling from Athens to the city of Thessaloniki.  The accident happened at the moment when the train collided with another freight train, as a result of which 3 carriages went off the tracks.
